PCN

It’s finally here! On April 15th at 5pm please join the Filipino Cultural Association (FCA) for our annual Philippine Culture Night. Each year the organization puts on a student produced play featuring modern and cultural dances as well as our very own a cappella ensemble – The Mezzopinoys. This event is the culmination of everything FCA achieves throughout the year. It is a way to further educate our community and promote awareness of our Filipino American culture. Each Philippine Culture Night (PCN) features a play centered around a theme relevant to the FIlipino community.

“Puso ng Barrio” is tagalog for “Heart of the Town.” This year’s PCN is about the story of a town and its people as they deal with changes that affect the heart and soul of their community. The struggle between new customs and old traditions will tear the town apart. Will they be able to come to terms with the inter and intrapersonal problems that they all face?

Tickets are only $10 which includes a traditional Filipino meal! They are now available at the Hoff Box Office at the Stamp Student Union and online at http://umdtickets.universitytickets.com/user_pages/event.asp?id=505&cid=47. You may also buy tickets through any executive board member. Executive board information can be found here: http://fcaatumd.com/eboard/2016-2017-executive-board/
