I invite everyone to get involved in as many or as few ways as you’d like, but I promise that however you participate, you will have a great time and learn a few things along the way. “Hey there! I’m Krystle and I am extremely excited to be your VP for the 2012-2013 school year. While some people have nicknames, I’m sad to say that I’m not one of them :(. But one thing you will hear people call me in FCA is Ate (big sister) or Tita. Why is that you may ask? It’s because FCA is one big family, a group of people that you will grow so close to that you feel as if you never left home. So come join our family this year! We’ve got cultural events that’ll help you learn more about Filipino culture, intramural and D6 sports to keep you fit, a series of rewarding community service events, modern dance, and much more! “WAZZUP?!?! No but seriously, greetings to all. I’m Aaron Logan and I will be your Secretary for the upcoming 2012-2013 year. So that means I’m pretty much responsible for making sure things run smoothly at GBMs and all the paperwork regarding FCA events is taken care of. Most importantly, do not get intimidated by me because I’m an approachable person, and I will not hesitate to help you with anything you need. So if you have any problems, questions, or ideas don’t hesitate to contact me! This year is going to be the stuff of legends, SO GET HYPED!!!”

“Who gave you permission to read this? Well fine, since you’re on the second sentence already…. HI EVERYONE!! I’m Dana and I’ll be your Public Relations Officer for the 2012-2013 school year. Basically my job is to keep you in the know about all things FCA. I’ll be in touch through Facebook, Twitter, etc. I want everyone to have the chance to go to to any and all events, so come hang out with us. I’m begging. “Heylo everyone! My name is Cecily. Some of my favorite things include FCA, singing, and Winnie the Pooh! I am a little bit on the sarcastic side, but I promise I’m actually pretty nice! I will be one of your co-cultural chairs for the 2012 – 2013 school year. As co-cultural chair, I am here to keep the CULTURAL in Filipino Cultural Association. I look forward to working with all of you and hearing any ideas you have to promote the Filipino culture through different events, workshops, and dance practices! “Hey there! I’ll be one of your District 6 Representatives this year, working with Leilani to bring you the best D6 has to offer. Our job is to keep FCA connected with other Filipino cultural organizations at local colleges and universities and help put on events to bring everyone together. These are great opportunities to expand your borders, make new connections, and have a lot of fun. I’ll be active around CP as well. Come say “hi” if you see me dancing at modern and cultural practice, or grabbing lunch with my FCA family at Stamp!”

“Hey everyone! My name is David Singh and I will be your Male Sports Coordinator for the 2012-13 school year. For those of you who don’t know me or might not recognize me, I’m the tall Filipino (6’3″ to be exact) that you may have seen at GBMs or the sporting events. My goal is to encourage, inspire, persuade, force (just joking about this one) the general body members to become physically active and participate in FCA sporting events, whether it be through intramurals or D6 events such as Turkeybowl and D6 Basketball.
